Summer Professional Development
While we won’t be able to host our in-person professional development this summer, we have redesigned our offerings into unique online learning experiences. Upon completion, we offer professional development credit for many of our experiences. Please see the individual offerings for more information.
Get a glimpse inside real classrooms in our library of videos. You'll see our teaching strategies in action, experience classroom conversations, and hear teacher tips on how to build reflective classrooms. Our classroom videos are typically 4–10 minutes long.
Register for one of our free one-hour webinars and get introduced to a timely issue, featured expert, or historical period. We offer both live and on-demand webinars including Students as Changemakers; Creating Community, Centering Students; and Responding to Hate in Your School.
Sign up for the course that best fits your needs. We offer both facilitated and self-paced online courses that run for 3–6 weeks. Six-week facilitated courses begin June 11, while our on-demand offerings are available when you are. Topics include Holocaust and Human Behavior, the Reconstruction Era, To Kill a Mockingbird, and the Little Rock Nine.
