Reflecting on “the Dignity of Difference,” Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks once stated how "G-d does not want us all to be the same…He loves the multiplicity of languages, cultures, and colors, and creeds.” Rabbi Sacks also noted how it is our imperative, as Jews, to “bring that truth to all humankind." How does this translate to our role as Jewish educators? What does it mean to teach for ‘equity’ and ‘justice’ in the context of Jewish Education? Our asynchronous course, Teaching for Equity and Justice in the Context of Jewish Education (published June 2022), offers a five-module journey with resources and questions that attempt to answer these core questions through a Facing History & Ourselves lens.
