Addressing Contemporary Antisemitism

Due to unforeseen circumstances this event has been cancelled. We will notify you when the event is rescheduled.

Antisemitism is a growing problem in the UK and around the world. Social media has given millennia old antisemitic slurs and myths a platform from which to spread unchecked. To help tackle this rise in anti-Jewish sentiment, students must understand what antisemitism is and how it manifests in society.

Join us for this one-hour teacher conversation in which we explore our new mini-unit in addressing contemporary antisemitism. Use the resources to help students understand antisemitic tropes - their history and how they appear in the present day - and to think critically about their impact.

Activities and resources from the session will be provided and there will be the opportunity to share experiences with and learn from other teachers.

Details for joining the Zoom meeting will be shared by email prior to the event.

This seminar is aimed at teachers in the UK and supported by a grant from The Association of Jewish Refugees.
