Over the past few years students have not only had their learning severely disrupted by a global pandemic, they have seen protests against police brutality and systemic racism, conflict in Ukraine, ongoing tensions around immigration, rising Islamophobia, antisemitism and far right extremism, and intensifying economic hardship.
As we start the school year, it is important to consider how to create a supportive and connected classroom for the year ahead, and ways in which to give students the opportunity to process and reflect on their feelings and experiences.
Join us for a one-hour conversation that connects you to other educators and provides activities and resources for creating an environment in which students’ social and emotional needs are supported.
This event is aimed at teachers in the UK, particularly Scotland.
Details for joining the Zoom meeting will be shared by email prior to the event.
