Explore election-focused resources for middle and high school classrooms.
Experience teaching strategies designed to help students learn to listen respectfully to different opinions and experiences, try out ideas and positions, and give and get constructive feedback without fear or intimidation—essential skills for civic participation and democratic dialogue.
Learn how to create a space for students to engage in reflective and critical conversations about the 2024 election.

As the United States moves through the 2024 election season, join us for a half-day, in-person workshop for New England educators that examines resources and methods for teaching and guiding students’ understanding of elections and the importance of democratic dialogue.

This half-day afternoon workshop is open to all middle and high school educators in the New England Region. Please note: content for this workshop incorporates lessons and resources from our virtual learning series, Democracy in Action: Teaching about the 2024 Election & Educating for Civic Participation.
