Reclaiming the Identity of Youth Lost During the Holocaust

This workshop is a collaborative project of The Butterfly Project, Facing History and Ourselves, and Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust.

How do we understand and honor children’s  lives taken during the Holocaust? 

Connect students and teachers today with the stories of individuals lost during the Holocaust  through a focus on youth voices. Through this study, participants will explore themes of identity, youth during the Holocaust, and the power of art and memorial-making.

This workshop is particularly relevant for teachers of The Diary of Anne Frank and/or other Holocaust memoirs.
