Desegregation and Equity in Education

Presented in partnership with the New-York Historical Society and The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, this full-day, educator workshop investigates the history of desegregation within the nation’s school systems. Through hands-on activities and a panel discussion with educators and historians, this workshop will offer new classroom-ready resources and discuss strategies to help build a more inclusive curriculum and use history to ground and inform conversations about community action for equity in education.

Participants will receive 5.5 CTLE hours.

$35 per person ($30 for members New-York Historical Society Members) to register, visit this site.
