Please join Facing History and Ourselves in partnership with Massachussetts Foundation for the Humanities on October 19 for “Beyond Boston Busing,” a reading circle that focuses on school desegregation. The Reading Circle is in preparation for the November 1st panel discussion and viewing of the film “The Harvest,” that explores the legacy of public school integration in Leland, Mississippi and its connections to Boston busing history. Reading materials are available at The Harvest Readings The reading circle will meet at Facing History and Ourselves Library and Professional Development Center on October 19 from 4pm-7pm. Reading Circle participants are encouraged to attend the November 1st community screening and panel discussion at Hibernian Hall Roxbury, MA.
