For Schools and Districts

Just as we help individual teachers integrate Facing History into their classrooms, we do the same on a larger scale with administrators and department chairs, so they can introduce Facing History content, themes, and pedagogy to other teachers in their department, school, or district.

The positive effects of Facing History’s program are school-wide. A Facing History school sees increased academic engagement and decreased fighting and bullying, along with improved classroom learning environments and richer discussions of complex issues. Teachers experience an increase in their skills, knowledge, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction.
