Facing History recommends the following organizations to educators who are seeking to set up an in-person or virtual speaker visit by a Holocaust survivor or descendant of a survivor. Please keep in mind that it can take time to set up a classroom speaker visit, and it is important to plan well in advance of contacting any of these organizations. It may not be possible to fulfill all requests.
- US and Canada: The Holocaust Speakers Organization provides virtual and in-person speakers to secondary school classrooms in the United States and Canada. Please contact them via email at [email protected].
- US: United States Holocaust Memorial Museum provides speakers to secondary school classrooms in the United States
- IL: Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center provides speakers to secondary school classrooms in Illinois
- NY: Museum of Jewish Heritage provides speakers to secondary school classrooms in New York
- LA: Holocaust Museum LA provides speakers to secondary school classrooms in the Los Angeles metro area
- SFBA: Jewish Children and Family Services Holocaust Center provides speakers to secondary school classrooms in the San Francisco Bay area
