    Advanced Elective: Holocaust and Human Behavior

    This multimedia interactive workshop has been designed to support the professional growth of Facing History and Ourselves Elective Teachers. Facilitators will introduce Elective teachers to the new content in the 4th Edition of the Facing History and Ourselves Holocaust and Human Behavior Resource Book and work with our lead Curriculum Writer to explore and update the current course curriculum, A Facing History and Ourselves Elective Course: Holocaust and Human Behavior..Facing History staff will model implementation of Facing History’s pedagogical approach in order to support teachers and engage students as they learn critical thinking skills necessary to examine, analyze, interpret and compare primary source documents related to the course curriculum.

Upcoming Courses and Seminars

Our courses and seminars provide deep engagement with Facing History content, pedagogy, and teaching strategies. Seminars are in-person and provide an opportunity to engage with peers and Facing History staff. Upon completion, participants receive access to the lending library, as well as access to a Facing History Program Associate for coaching and support.
