Global Summit Logistics

This is an invitation-only gathering of approximately 25 participants. Participants are representatives of educational networks around the world, including civil society organizations, non-governmental organizations, and educational institutions. Sessions will be interactive, and we will follow up with you to share a more detailed agenda in the coming weeks.

Flights

  • Summit participants are responsible for booking international travel to and from Northern Ireland and securing any necessary travel documents or visas.
  • Participants are advised to arrive in Belfast on 30 June.
  • Belfast has two airports: Belfast International Airport and Belfast City Airport. If you have difficulty finding good flights to/from Belfast airports, you might look into booking flights through Dublin. The Dublin airport is linked by regular bus transit to Belfast city centre. Buses leave approximately once per hour, and travel time between the Dublin airport and Belfast city centre is about 2 hours 20 minutes.

Ground Transportation

On arrival in Belfast, participants should make their way to the Holiday Inn Express, 106a University Street, Belfast, BT7 1HP.

  • For arrivals at Belfast George Best City Airport, there is a Value Cabs rank outside the main exit.
  • For arrivals at Belfast International Airport, there is a Belfast Airport Taxis rank outside the main exit.

All other group ground transportation during the Summit, including travel between Belfast and Ballycastle, will be organized by Facing History
