Meet Facing History & Ourselves in North Carolina
Facing History & Ourselves is growing its reach into North Carolina! Come and discover how you can make a difference in your community. This event will be held in-person.
Are you working to craft an environment where civil discourse can thrive? Facing History can help.
Join us for an evening highlighting the impact of Facing History’s unique and time tested approach to fostering civil discourse in a polarized world. North Carolina Teacher of the Year, Kimberly Jones will share how she employs Facing History to foster civil discourse while fostering a culture of belonging, empathy, and reflection. You will also get to meet Desmond Blackburn, CEO and President of Facing History & Ourselves who will address why Facing History's approach is so crucial in developing an informed and engaged citizenry.
Whether you are a head of school, parent, teacher, community member, corporate partner, or lifelong learner, you will learn how Facing History is preparing the next generation to build more civil and just communities based on knowledge and compassion and how you can get involved.
