Participants will be introduced to ways to partner with Facing History to support the creation of a dynamic, student-centered learning communities that cultivate academic engagement, foster a sense of agency, and ensure every teacher and student feels they belong.
Participants will:
- Gain an understanding of the different components of the Schools Where We Belong program and district curriculum programs
- Consider the readiness factors that make you a good candidate for partnership with Facing History
- Learn how partnering with Facing History can help create thriving learning communities through our pedagogy, professional learning, and follow-up support
- Identify the next steps to take to bring Facing History to your school or district
