Literature has the power to nurture our capacity for empathy and to strengthen our communities. During this webinar, we’ll discuss the new format for this year’s All Community Read, which features a selection of texts on the theme of borders and belonging. This new approach encourages educators to select texts that align to their and their students’ needs and interests.

Educators will leave this webinar with Facing History resources and strategies for engaging adults and students with one—or all—of our selected books. Each of these books provides an avenue to discuss the tangible and intangible borders that shape belonging in our schools and communities.

The webinar will feature these books, companions to our Borders & Belonging Collection
