NYCPS middle and high school educators and administrators are invited to learn more about Facing History & Ourselves’ approach to bringing crucial, challenging, and necessary resources and conversations into classrooms. This virtual workshop will model an example of our approach and provide a tour of our website to learn how to access our free online educator resources.
Participants will learn how to create an educator account and build their own personalized resource collections for convenient access. In addition to sharing resources on identity and belonging, fostering civil discourse, and student-centered teaching strategies, workshop participants will be able to explore our rich content resources on History, ELA, Current Events, Advisory, and Media Literacy.
