Pour analyser un document historique, il faut apprendre à en discerner l’objectif, à en comprendre le message et savoir à quel public il s’adresse. Les grilles d’analyse sont des organisateurs graphiques qui aident les élèves à retrouver des informations importantes concernant un document (ex. l’auteur/créateur, la date de création, l’emplacement, le format etc.) et à se servir de ces données pour déterminer le point de vue ou le parti-pris de l’auteur.
