Our Logo

At the core of the Facing History visual identity is our logo—a strong, simple, and engaging identifier of who we are.

Maintaining the integrity and strength of the Facing History brand can be achieved in large part via the correct use of our logo across all platforms and media. And as the core visual identifier of an organization that holds a special place in the hearts and minds of countless educators and students across the globe, it should be protected.

Visit the Usage Guidelines page for information on how to use various versions of the logo in context.

The History of our Logo

Our logo has been updated throughout the years to maintain a contemporary relevance with our audience. It has always, though, relied on the core visual motif of a stylized globe-form alongside a stacked wordmark of our name. The current iteration of our logo is its simplest, more universal and bold, with better reproduction across different sizes and media.

In each iteration of our logo, we have maintained the representation of the intersection of knowledge and perspective – learning from history and each other in a way that shapes our world view, our values, our relationships, and our actions. We each bring our own perspective, and, of course, there is so much to learn. But, when we bring these together we build strong, positive, and resilient communities -- at school and out in the world.
