Human Rights and Responding to Those in Crisis: Armenian Genocide Follow Up

This event has been canceled. Registration is closed.

Join us for an exclusive one-hour after school webinar where we will reconnect with and deepen our knowledge on the Armenian Genocide. Drawing from the lessons and discussions during the seminar or workshop you attended, you will have the opportunity to meet with other Chicago-area educators and two scholars who will lead us in a discussion on human rights. We will use the Armenian Genocide to make broader connections to today’s current events and understand how we can better grapple with this difficult history. Scholars include Susan Gzesh, Executive Director of the Pozen Family Center for Human Rights and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Chicago, and Adam Strom, lead writer of the Facing History resource, Crimes Against Humanity and Civilization: The Genocide of the Armenians.

This webinar is from 3:30-4:30 CST.

After you register for the event, you will receive an email instructing you on how to join the webinar.
