Addressing Contemporary Racial and Religious Hatred

In recent years, incidents of Islamaphobic and antisemitic hatred and violence have continued to increase. Join this conversation to connect with other teachers and gain ideas on how to support your students to address racial and religious hatred in contemporary society, its impact, and what can be done to challenge it.

We will explore activities from our upcoming resources on Islamophobia and antisemitism that consider the history and evolution of these prejudices, the role of social media in amplifying their spread, and how we can each stand up against bigotry and hate.

There will be the opportunity to share experiences with and learn from other teachers in breakout rooms.

This event is aimed at teachers in the UK.

Details for joining the Zoom meeting will be shared by email prior to the event.
