Confronting Bias and Blind Spots in the Classroom (CMHR, Winnipeg)

Join us for an interactive workshop in partnership with the Canadian Museum for Human Rights that will encourage you to reflect on the role biases can play in our communities, our schools, and our classrooms. Using the Facing History approach, along with related scholarship (videos and readings), you’ll explore strategies that can help build reflective and engaging learning spaces for your students and consider how our individual identities influence our understanding of others around us.

A light meal will be provided.
