People make choices; choices make history. During this free workshop, participants will explore choices in history and choices that educators make in the classroom. Using primary sources and a variety of media, we will dive into history to consider how circumstances and contexts play a role in people’s choices. At the same time, we will reflect on our own work as teachers and the choices we face in educating our students to become empathetic, critical thinkers in a global society.
