America Divided: "Whose History?"

Join Facing History and Ourselves and the Brooks Museum for a special screening of Whose History, an episode of the docu-series America Divided.

Whose History, featuring correspondent Jussie Smollett, explores how Tennessee and Memphis in particular has faced our legacies of racism and white supremacy with a focus on the taking down of confederate monuments and the recognition of lynchings. The film includes interviews with Memphis activists and organizations working to create a more just and equitable city.

America Divided is an EPIX Original docu-series, executive produced by Norman Lear, Shonda Rhimes and Common, which features narratives around inequality in education, housing, healthcare, labor, criminal justice and the political system.
