Knock Down The House—Film Screening & Panel

Join us for a special film screening and panel discussion around Knock Down the House!

How does listening to often unheard voices make for a stronger community? Knock Down the House, a Netflix documentary, follows four extraordinary women—Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Amy Vilela, Cori Bush, and Paula Jean Swearengin—who mount grassroots campaigns against powerful incumbents during the 2018 midterm elections and build a movement during a time of historic volatility in American politics.

After the film, Liz Vogel, Facing History's Los Angeles Executive Director, will lead a panel discussion featuring two of the candidates from the film, about the roles we each play in engaging and changing our communities.
