Social Justice Through A Photographer's Eye: A Youth Lead Community Conversation with Ron Haviv

Presented by Facing History and Ourselves and The Allstate Foundation in partnership with The Maltz Museum

Join us for a Youth Lead Community Conversation with award-winning photojournalist Ron Haviv who has been telling stories through his remarkably captivating photos for three decades. He has worked in more than 100 countries, capturing images from some of the most significant moments of our time.

Like Facing History, Ron believes storytelling and the sharing of visual narratives across geographic and cultural lines has the power to help us become more engaged citizens. The more engaged we are, the more likely we are to ask probing, critical questions about the world around us so we can stop injustices and create a more humane society.

As part of our national series of Youth Lead Community Conversations, this event is free and open to the public but capacity is limited and spots will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis. If you're looking to bring a group of attendees please contact meredith_pacenta@facinghistory.org.
