Putting the Characters on Trial

This is the corresponding PowerPoint for Lesson 19 of the unit Teaching An Inspector Calls. In this lesson, students participate in a court trial to decide which character is the most responsible for the death of Eva Smith, and then create a pie chart to represent the distribution of responsibility between the characters.

This PowerPoint includes student-facing slides and activity instructions in the notes section for the teacher. It is intended to be used alongside, and not instead of, the lesson plan. The PowerPoint includes basic media and prompts from the lesson plan, but we expect you to adapt it to fit the needs of your students and class.
