Hitler: Anatomy of a Dictatorship

22 minutes
Source: Social Studies School Service

This documentary provides an historical overview of the rise of Hitler, using historical film footage. It is oversimplified and occasionally inaccurate, and should be used with caution. It does, however, give students a brief background to this period of German history and suggests the climate of Germany in the 1920s and 1930s that facilitated Hitler's rise to power.
