Six Jewish women, from different countries and different backgrounds, found themselves deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau during World War II. Through their eyes, Swimming in Auschwitz allows the viewer to become a witness to the female experience of the Holocaust.They speak of camp families and faith, uplifting one another while trying to remain human. The film includes interviews along with archival footage and photographs.
