Memory and Legacy presents a panel discussion that took place on November 3, 2006, among three genocide survivors, Father Romain Rurangirwa of Rwanda, Mardi Seng of Cambodia, and Sonia Schreiber Weitz, Holocaust survivor and the author of I Promised I Would Tell. Each survivor gives a brief overview of their story, and describes what they witnessed. They then engage in a discussion with audience members and each other about such themes as the legacy of the genocide in their lives and the world, justice, forgiveness, and the continued responsibility of each one of us to work to prevent genocide and violence today.
