This documentary, sometimes called Stand Firm, recounts the persecution of a small, historically unique religious group that refused to support Hitler’s regime. Through interviews with scholars and survivors, the documentary discusses how Jehovah’s Witnesses were able to stand firm against Nazi assault. It is the story of ordinary people whose actions in the face of tyranny raise important moral and ethical issues and show that the Holocaust was not inevitable. The DVD version includes a Spanish language track.
