In the article, "An Indonesian Artist uses her Canvas to Unite a Nation," Grace Siregar tries to unite opposing groups through art in Indonesia.  Siregar believes her calling "is helping the country to vent on canvas instead of at one another."  In her most famous piece, Siregar organized a peace installation in the coconut groves in the city of Tobelo.   One of the installation artists, Hans Ririmasse, explains that his peace Your Family, My Family, "was really about making a statement that we can't be separated by war or poverty or greed or hatred or many other things that have led to the hostility here."  An Indonesian Priest, Father Parrisius Anselmus Jeujanan believes, "Culture and art have been a media for reconciliation."
