Facing History has created an interactive website for students, Be the Change: Upstanders for Human Rights [2].  Created with the help of students, the website  presents the stories of five young activists from around the world who have created positive change in their countries, through nonviolent means, and have done it before turning 30.

Generously funded by a grant from the Reebok Human Rights Foundation, Be the Change introduces you to five Reebok Human Rights Awardees--individuals from around the world who have taken a stand in support of human rights. These upstanders have chosen to confront diverse social issues using different mechanisms to promote change, and have taught that each one of us can  make a difference. Learn how ordinary people have done extraordinary things.
