Since the New England regional office opened in 1976, more than 6,000 area educators have participated in Facing History professional development programs. These teachers annually reach over 500,000 middle and high school students in over 1,000 public, religious and independent schools throughout the six New England states.

Facing History is actively used in history, literature,
interdisciplinary, government and specially designed Facing History
electives all over New England. In addition to being incorporated into
K-12 schools, Facing History is also taught in colleges and
universities.
