Watch "Worse Than War" on PBS, April 14

"Worse than War" premieres on PBS during National Holocaust Remembrance Week on April 14th at 9 p.m. (check local listings). 

"Worse Than War" documents genocide scholar Daniel Goldhagen’s journey to nine countries around the world, where he explores instances of genocide. In this film, Goldhagen speaks with victims, perpetrators, witnesses, politicians, diplomats, historians, humanitarian aid workers, and journalists, all with the purpose of understanding the critical features of genocide and how to stop it. Over the next year and a half, Facing History will create classroom materials, conduct educator workshops, and host community events to accompany the film, helping it to reach classrooms around the world.  
 
Goldhagen will speak this April at Facing History in Memphis. He will participate in an educator workshop on April 21, and speak at a Community Conversation on April 22.
