“The idea of choosing to participate, being an up-stander not a bystander or a perpetrator, that’s the language for everything we do every day,” Mark Otto, assistant principal at Facing History High School, recently told The Epoch Times. As part of the school-wide anti-bullying campaign, Travis Brown was invited to speak to students. Currently on a nationwide anti-bullying tour, Travis Brown, or as he refers to himself, Mr. Mojo, spoke of helping both victims and bystanders realize their power when bullying takes place.

The Facing History School’s mission is to graduate students who are: a.) lifelong learners with the skills and knowledge for academic and professional success and b.) prepared for the responsibilities of being active, thoughtful participants and leaders in a democratic society. Facing History and Ourselves is the lead partner for the school that opened in September 2005. We are teaming with the school to help integrate our mission, values, resources, and pedagogical approaches into a rigorous and cutting edge four-year curriculum.
