Fashion Meets Facing History

Nearly 100 guests gathered for a private Facing History and Ourselves event at the Vivienne Tam Boutique on December 15, 2009. This exclusive event, hosted by Facing History’s New York office and the organization’s China Project Committee, included new and long-time supporters, donors, and members of Facing History’s young professionals network. 

The goal of the evening was to give the guests a chance to hear about Facing History's work in China, learn more about one of Facing History’s latest resource book Teaching Red Scarf Girl, and to shop for a good cause. As part of the evening, designer Vivienne Tam, a supporter of Facing History, generously donated back to the organization a portion of all purchases made at the event.
