Facing History Students Take Part in NBC Mural Project
On November 18th, at NBC's Studio 8H - the famed home of Saturday Night Live - hundreds of NBC Universal employees and students from various schools around New York City, including the Facing History School, joined acclaimed environmental artist Tom Deininger to create a 12-foot, 3-D eco-trash art mural inspired by the Ansel Adams photograph Aspen Groves. NBCU volunteers and students worked with repurposed, recycled, and reclaimed materials from around the company, including electronic devices, DVDs, and SNL cue cards.
