Facing History staff to speak at UCLA conference

Facing History's Jewish Education Project Lead Beth Cohen will speak at the UCLA conference "The Myth of Silence? Who Spoke about the Holocaust and When." Beth will be on a panel discussion, "Survivors, Perpetrators and American Culture" on Monday, October 26 from 10:15 to Noon. Facing History board of scholar members Michael Berenbaum and John Roth will speak on Sunday. The conference is sponsored by the UCLA/Mellon Program on the Holocaust in American & World Culture, the Center for Jewish Studies and the “1939” Club.  The symposium which is scheduled for October 25-26 is free and open to the public.
