Facing History Joins Harvard Law School to Discuss "Bargaining with the Devil"

Facing History and Ourselves’ Executive Director Margot Stern Strom, joined Professor Robert Mnookin at Harvard Law School on February 4 for an event to celebrate the publication of Mnookin’s new book, Bargaining with the Devil.

Mnookin is a member of Facing History’s Board of Scholars and the Samuel Williston Professor of Law at Harvard Law School, Chair of the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School, and Director of the Harvard Negotiation Research Project. A leading scholar in the field of conflict resolution, Professor Mnookin has applied his interdisciplinary approach to negotiation and conflict resolution to a remarkable range of problems; including questions of human rights, historical dilemmas, and corporate relationships in both the public and private sectors.

Minow—who also is a member of Facing History’s Board of Scholars, Assistant Professor Gabriella Blum, and Lecturer on Law David Hoffman, founding partner and the Boston Law Collaborative.
