We know many thousands of people in our extended Facing History and Ourselves network are struggling with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. We also know that just as many of you are reaching out to assist your families, friends, neighbors, and communities in their recovery efforts. We are, as ever, touched and heartened by all that you do.

While our New York area office remains closed, please know that Headquarters remains open and we are available to assist our educators and community members as you either prepare for schools to reopen or if you are looking for lessons on Choosing to Participate to help encourage your students' sense of connection to the world around them.
