2nd Generation Preserves Memories of Holocaust by Retelling Parents Stories

The Memphis Commercial Appeal spoke with Rachel Shankman, senior director for the Facing History and Ourselves office in Memphis, to learn more about Facing History's Second-Generation Survivor Program. As a second-generation survivor and participant in the program herself, Shankman spoke on April 21 at the Memphis Jewish High School in commemoration of Yom Hashoah, or Day of Remembrance.
