“A Convenient Hatred” Listed as an “Outstanding Academic Title” of 2012

Facing History and Ourselves’ resource book A Convenient Hatred: The History of Antisemitism was selected as one of the Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries “Outstanding Academic Titles” of 2012. Choice editors applied several criteria to reviewed titles including overall excellence in presentation and scholarship, originality or uniqueness of treatment, and value to undergraduate students.

This is the most recent acclaim for A Convenient Hatred, which traces the history of antisemitism over time and examines how this hatred continues today. The book, released in the fall of 2012 and written by Facing History’s Senior Associate for Curriculum Resource Development Phyllis Goldstein, was featured on Morning Joe, as well as in Publishers Weekly, the Huffington Post, the New York Journal of Books, the Daily Beast, and the New York Post.
