Innovative Schools Network
The Facing History Innovative Schools Network is made up of schools that embrace Facing History's core themes as foundational to their schools' mission. Schools in the network weave Facing History content and teaching strategies throughout the school–in humanities classes, advisory groups, faculty meetings, and activities with the broader community. These schools seek to engage students with rigorous interdisciplinary content and methodology that promotes academic skills as well as empathy and ethical awareness. The Innovative Schools Network was launched in 2008 with 12 schools. Today, the network includes over 40 schools and reaches over 15,000 students. | ![]() |
