Victoria Neal

Victorial Neal, Student at Whitehaven High School, Memphis, TN As a 10th grader at Whitehaven High School, Victoria Neal and her family responded when the Wolf and Loosahatchie Rivers flooded low-income Hispanic neighborhoods in North Memphis by volunteering at their church, Cummings Street Baptist Church. She helped to serve food, provide clothing, and offer comfort to the evacuees. Neal and her family did the same in 2005 when evacuees arrived in Memphis following Hurricane Katrina. Her willingness to serve provides an example to her peers, her teachers, and the people of Memphis.
